Web Portal FAQ

Here are the frequently asked questions regarding the Web Portal channel within the TRIFFT Cockpit:

1. What is the primary purpose of the Web Portal channel?

The Web Portal serves as a web-based loyalty hub that allows members to engage with your program directly through their browser. It mirrors the core functionality of the Mobile App—allowing users to view point balances, browse news, claim deals, and update their profile—making it essential for desktop users or those who prefer not to download a native application.

2. How can I customize the look and feel of the Web Portal?

Within the Settings > Channels > Web Portal section of the Cockpit, you can manage your brand's visual identity. You can upload your Logo, define Primary and Secondary Colors, and configure Homepage Widgets. This ensures that the portal feels like a natural extension of your main e-commerce website.

3. Can the Web Portal be used to host static content like FAQs and T&Cs?

Yes. The Web Portal is the primary destination for Pages. By creating static content in the Pages module and assigning it a specific URL slug, you can host your "Privacy Policy," "Terms & Conditions," or "How it Works" guides. These are then automatically accessible via the portal’s navigation menus.

4. How do members access their unique referral links on the portal?

You can create a dedicated Referral Page within the Web Portal. Once a member is logged in, this page dynamically displays their unique referral URL or QR code. It also provides a dashboard where they can track how many friends they have successfully invited and what rewards are pending.

Pro Tip: Use Deep Links in your email campaigns to drive traffic directly to the Web Portal. For example, a "Points Expiring" email can link directly to the Portal's "Deals" section to encourage immediate redemption.

5. Does the Web Portal support multi-language content?

Absolutely. Just like the Mobile App, all content displayed on the Web Portal (News, Deals, Pages, and UI labels) is governed by the Texts and Translation module. If a member's browser is set to a supported secondary language, the portal will automatically serve the translated version of the content you've provided in the Cockpit.
