Gamification FAQ
Q: Which trigger should I use for testing?
A: Use On click.
Q: Can On click be used in production?
A: It is not recommended. The member can use the displayed button to trigger the contest repeatedly. Duplicate the contest with a different trigger before publishing.
Q: What does "After every purchase" do?
A: A real purchase transaction triggers or advances the contest.
Q: What does "After Wallet Credit" do?
A: Any credit movement in the member's wallet triggers or advances the contest.
Q: Can prize stock be unlimited?
A: Yes. Keep the stock restriction disabled.
Q: What happens when a prize runs out of stock?
A: The prize can no longer be awarded, and its probability moves to Losing. It is not redistributed among the remaining prizes.
Q: What are Point Ranges?
A: Point Ranges allow a Random Win contest to use different prize probabilities based on the spend of the transaction that triggered it.
Q: Can higher-spend transactions have a better prize probability?
A: Yes. Create separate spend ranges and assign a different probability distribution to each range.
Q: What happens to transactions outside all active Point Ranges?
A: Transactions outside all active Point Ranges are completely ignored by the contest.
Q: What does Waiting mean in Entries?
A: A contest opportunity was created, but the member has not completed the game yet.
Q: Where do I configure the Stamp Card threshold?
A: Thresholds and advanced qualification rules that are not available in Content Cockpit must be configured by TRIFFT Support.
Q: Where do I configure a minimum purchase value?
A: Contact TRIFFT Support when the condition is not available directly in Content Cockpit.
Q: How early should I request an advanced contest setup?
A: Submit the request sufficiently in advance. Implementation time depends on the complexity of the contest and the current technical-team workload.
Q: Why is my contest not visible to members?
A: Check that it is published, the current date is inside its validity period, the member satisfies all conditions and consents, and all required backend rules are active.
Q: Can I edit a live contest?
A: We do not recommend editing a live contest's logic, but feel free to edit prizes, graphic assets, texts, etc.
Q: What happens if I use REFUND/DELETE on a transaction that awarded points in a Progress Bar with Milestone contest?
A: Progress Bar with Milestone contests currently do not support automatic point deductions. If a transaction is refunded or deleted, you must manually deduct the corresponding points from the contest for the change to be reflected in the customer’s progress.
