Action description (Example: Updating Portal Navigation and Visuals)

  1. Navigate to Web Portal Settings: Log in to the TRIFFT Cockpit and go to Settings > Touchpoints > Web Portal.
  2. Access Navigation Editor: Search for the Menu Routes to view current portal links.
  3. Update Menu Links: Add new items (e.g., a "Spring Sale" deal category) or drag existing items to change the display order.
  4. Edit Style (CSS): Navigate to the Custom CSS section to update button radii, font colors, or spacing as per new brand guidelines.
  5. Configure Tracking: Navigate to to the Custom Header/Body to place your GTM script to ensure all new portal sections are being measured.
  6. Manage Domain Settings: If moving to a new subdomain, update the Portal URL field and verify the new CNAME records.
  7. Enable and Confirm: Click Save Changes and perform a hard refresh on the live portal to confirm the updates.

Ongoing management checklist

  • SSL & Domain Health: Periodically check that the custom subdomain remains active and the SSL certificate is valid.
  • Navigation Audit: Ensure that all menu links point to active, published content (News, Deals, Rewards) and not "404" or blank pages.
  • Responsive Performance: Test the portal on multiple screen sizes (Tablet, Mobile, Desktop) after any CSS update.
  • Tracking Continuity: Verify in GTM/GA4 that event data (e.g., reward_click) is still flowing correctly after navigation changes.
  • Auth Flow Verification: Test the member registration and "Forgot Password" flows monthly to ensure zero friction for users.
  • Translation Sync: Check that all newly added menu items are correctly localized in the Translations tab for all active languages.
