Members Overview

The TRIFFT Members function is the central CRM engine that stores and manages all registered member data, providing a holistic view of individual customer profiles, activity logs, and loyalty account balances. It serves as the foundation for the entire ACORE lifecycle (Attract, Convert, Onboard, Retain, Expand), allowing you to transform anonymous visitors into trackable, high-value brand advocates.

Why it matters

Impact AreaBusiness Value
RevenueEnables personalized targeting and "anti-churn" triggers by leveraging real-time data on member behavior and transaction history.
EfficiencyProvides an intuitive interface for marketing and support teams to edit profiles, adjust points, and manage coupons without developer support.
ExperiencePowers "white-glove" customer service by giving staff instant access to a member's total loyalty history, favorite venue, and status.
⚖️

Risk if ignored — Without central member management, brands cannot comply with privacy regulations (like GDPR anonymization requests), identify fraudulent activity, or resolve individual customer disputes.

Example use cases

  • Zero-Party Data Capture — Use "Complete Profile" challenges to collect valuable member attributes like birthdays, favorite categories, or home locations.
  • Anti-Fraud Management — Use the Block/Unblock toggle to instantly restrict program access for accounts suspected of terms-of-service violations.
  • Compliance Anonymization — Permanently remove personally identifiable information (PII) upon request while retaining anonymized transaction data for financial reporting.
  • Manual Wallet Adjustments — Rectify missed transactions or reward loyal behavior by manually crediting points or assigning coupons directly to a member's account.
  • VIP Engagement Audits — Analyze a specific member's Activity Overview to see which campaigns (News, Deals, or Promo Events) are most effective at driving their behavior.

How to measure success

Key Performance Indicators

  • Primary KPI: Active Member Growth (New registrations vs. churned/deleted accounts).
  • Secondary KPIs: Profile Completeness Rate (Zero-party data depth) and Member Engagement Frequency.

Governance & Operations

  • Guardrails: Monitor the volume of Anonymized versus Blocked accounts to ensure program health and security.
  • Suggested review cadence: Weekly for the first month to monitor signup quality, then monthly.
